Prof. Cuevas holds a PhD in Library & Information Science by the Carlos III University of Madrid and a Master's Degree in Philosophy and Educational Sciences by the Complutense University. She is currently working as an Associate Professor at the Library & Information Science Department of the Carlos III University of Madrid and as a full time teacher at the Colegio Estudio of Madrid. As a member of the DOTEINE and ACROPOLIS research groups, she participates in most of their funded projects. She is also member of the Instituto Universitario "Agustín Millares" of the Carlos III University of Madrid. Her main research areas are information literacy, reading competencies and school libraries.
